Kegerator Tap Handle

I just ordered this very cool beer tap handle from micromatic, for my Kegerator, there is nothing wrong with the one I currently have other then it's a branded tap handle. I though it might make more sense to have a generic handle for when I don't have that brand in the keg. Sacramento team wins beer pong championship

A Sacramento team has won the 2010 World Beer Pong Tour championship, held in Atlantic City this past week.
Michael Seviert and Byron Findley of the Drinkin' Smokin' Straight West Coastin' team beat out 352 other teams to win the $25,000 first prize.  How cool is that !
Beer pong is a ubiquitous party drinking game. Two teams square off at opposite sides of a table that has plastic cups set up on it in a triangle formation and filled with beer. in this case they use water. Each team takes turns trying to throw ping pong balls into the cups at the other end of the table; when a ping pong ball lands in a cup, the other team must drink the beer inside.

Duff's Wings

While I was south of the border this past weekend I stumbled into Duffs Famous Wings, while I am a fan of the originator of the Buffalo Wing the Anchor Bar.  I always like to try new places. I was pleasantly surprised that there wing themselves were about the same in size, but did like the variety of sauces at Duff. apparently this place is good enough for the President to enjoy too.

Next time your in buffalo stop in to one of there locations BTW they have a large selection of beers on tap !!

Beer Nuts

Thought I would share this recipe for Beer Nuts, every good home bar set-up has a good supply of this tasty treat.


4 1/2 c Raw shelled peanuts
2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Water
Coarse salt

Bring peanuts, sugar, salt and water to a boil.
Boil until all liquid is absorbed, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 300°.
Spread nuts on a greased jelly roll pan; sprinkle with salt. Bake 20 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with more salt and bake an additional 20 minutes.
Cool completely.
Store in an airtight container
Enjoy.
